UPDATE: At this time, I have paused my coaching and consulting services. If you’d like to be notified when I reopen my calendar, please sign up for my email list:
Since becoming a full-time artist, I have learned many valuable lessons that I feel compelled to share. If you’ve read my blog, you know I share quite a lot! I have been selling my work professionally for over a decade now. Being a creator often isn’t just about creating. It’s about finding the confidence to create, overcoming your own internal obstacles, figuring out your voice and style, marketing yourself, researching your audience, growing your following, figuring out if you want to sell your work, keeping accurate records, staying on a schedule even when creativity is lacking, and so much more. Becoming a professional or hobby artist can seem overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. If you are just starting out, feel stuck, or are looking for new ways to push yourself to the next level, I can help.
First, if you haven’t looked at my blog, do that. There are many resources for you there. If you’ve already done that or you feel working one-on-one is more beneficial for you, then I am happy to offer my services when I have unpaused my break. Since I focus primarily on selling my own work, my consulting availability is extremely limited.
Why work with me?
As I said, I focus primarily on selling my own art. I am not a full-time or even part-time consultant, and that’s the way I will always keep it. To teach you how to make a living as an artist while I am making a living as a consultant would feel so icky to me. I am in the trenches with you. I am applying to galleries, attending shows, and actively living the life of an artist. I don’t talk about hypotheticals in my sessions. I speak from experience and my own success and failures. (Also, I have talked quite a few people out of paying for a session with me because your money is better spent on art supplies.)
